On Saturday, Gigi and Papa D brought Madelyn up to the hospital to meet Mason and see Mommy and Daddy. It did not go as smoothly as we would have hoped. When they arrived Madelyn was not very interested in either of us and acted indifferent to Mason. Soon after they arrived it got very busy in here. The doctor and nurse came in to release me out of bed. This was an involved process including taking off all the wires and such. It was not a great time for Madelyn to meet her new little brother. She began to get fussy and wild so they went home to take a nap.
The next day Gigi and Hallie brought Madelyn back and it went much better! It was much calmer here and I was able to get up and around more. Madelyn was very interested in giving me Mason's diapers and pacifier. She still did not seem very interested in him but I am sure she will warm up to him when we make it home...

Aw she just didnt know what to think :) Im sure she will be a GREAT big sis & take care of him once everyone is settled in at home!
jack treated jacob like a piece of furniture until recently...i think until they keep there eyes open and start moving/making noises the older siblins continue on like they aren't there:) i would rather have that than jack be rough with him i guess... congrats! they will be sooo cute together as brother and sister!
