Bounce, Bounce, Bounce

There is a place in Flower Mound called Boomerang's. It is an indoor inflatable play place. While we were in St. Louis, Gigi and Papa D took Madelyn here and she absolutely loved it! Well, I had to see for myself so yesterday we took her back. It is a really neat place. It is a huge open place with lots of massive inflatable toyscapes. They have a toddler inflatable area that was just Madelyn's size with lots to climb on and slide down. She ran wild for almost an hour and then ran to the door and said 'bye bye'. **Warning: I went a little wild with the pictures! :)

Christmas Decorations

Madelyn was very interested in helping decorate for Christmas this year!! She loves to look at the Christmas tree and can even say Santa. This Christmas is going to be so much fun!!

Black Friday

Not being a fan of big crowds, I was not super excited about Black Friday as everyone else. But, we decided to head down to North Park Mall to see what all the fuss was about and to show Madelyn the Christmas decos...It was super crowded but I did not have anything in mind to buy so I was just along for the ride...Madelyn was a little wild and did not want to ride in her stroller so it was tiring day but fun anyway! being silly on the ride there sending some emails and doing a little work!! :) running wild in Nordstrom! Enjoying some yummy lunch and getting sleepy...

Happy Thanksgiving 2008!

The Bird Family had a wonderful, low-key Thanksgiving this year. Madelyn was still getting over being a little sick so we played around the house until after her nap and then went over to Gigi and Papa D's for turkey! We are so thankful for family! :) Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year! Relaxing before the big day! Enjoying the beautiful weather outside! Sicky Baby

Yesterday Gigi, Madelyn and I were out running some errands around Flower Mound. Madelyn was not acting like herself at all. She was very clingy and just wanted to be held...Well, on the way to the indoor play place she threw up ALL OVER the car and herself. I quickly pulled over and could hardly even get her out of the car because I was getting sick myself! We took her back to Gigi's house, gave her a bath and cleaned out my car. All her clothes were washing so all we had to dress her in the only thing that was even close to her size...A child's t-shirt!! It was so funny! After a good night's sleep, Madelyn seems to be almost back to herself...

Play Date

Today, Jennifer and Rhyan came over for a playdate...It was really fun to have some company over at the house. Rhyan was a little apprehensive of Madelyn because Madelyn is much more active and crazy than Rhyan.

Bear's Game

While in St. Louis, we went to a Bears game. This was my first NFL game and it was really exciting. Even though our seats were pretty high, I still tried to get some good pictures...I think there were more Bears fans in the stadium which made for a really fun game. St. Louis

This weekend, Derek and I went up to St. Louis for a little vacation. We were there for the Bears game on Sunday...We really missed Madelyn but it was nice to have a vacation with just the two of us.
