Today we went to see Dr. Curry for Madelyn's 12 month appointment. This was originally scheduled for the day after her birthday but because of family coming in and all the party festivities, I had to reschedule. He was very impressed with Madelyn. She is right on track (ahead of track actually). She showed off her walking and talking skills for Dr. Curry. He was very pleased that she was on milk already and he was also impressed with all her teeth! He okayed Madelyn to eat most anything she wants with the exception of honey. We are also still fighting a little diaper rash so he gave us something for that! We had a long talk about vaccinations and decided to split them up a little so she only got 2 today! She was a champ. After the doctor we got to go to lunch with Daddy and take a nap all the way home!! Here are her stats:
Weight: 25 pounds, 1o ounces (96%)
Height: 31 1/4 inches (97%)
Head: 18 inches (70%)
Teeth: 11
Dr. Curry was pleased with her weight and height. He said that she is on track to have an adult height of 5'8"!! He said she is just a big baby but not fat! :)
The waiting room was empty today so Madelyn got to run around and have fun!!
She loved playing with the blocks in the exam room!!
