Recently I bought Madelyn a 'preschool' sized backpack thinking that someday she could take it to school. For now we use it at times when we need to bring food or milk somewhere. A few nights ago Madelyn found this backpack in her room and was carrying it around all night. It was a glimpse into the future to when she is on her way to school for real! :)
