This past week Madelyn and I ventured out to the "country". About a year ago, my parents bought a house out in the middle of nowhere between Tyler and Houston. They have worked so hard this past year to basically remodel the entire place. Since Madelyn and I are on vacation, we decided to go out there. We had not gone before because I was nervous of the 3 hour drive out there. But, Madelyn ended up doing very well there and back...I think that she enjoyed the "country" (especially playing with Layla and looking at the donkeys). Here are some pictures from the trip. 
Playing in the pool - Madelyn wanted to climb in and out...she is getting very good at standing and walking!! Watch out!!
