Happy Easter!!

Although the weather was pretty yucky today and Madelyn is fairly sick, we still had a nice Easter with the family...
We started with a family egg hunt in the living room (it was raining outside). Madelyn knew exactly what to do and loved putting the eggs in her basket!

After a nice nap we got dressed and headed over to Gigi's for Easter Lunch

I grew up in San Antonio and a big part of growing up there is Fiesta. Fiesta and Easter are almost always back to back. A tradition of Fiesta are confetti filled eggs called cascarones. You take these eggs and crack them over someone else's head. My parents always have a few dozen of these for Easter. Today, Madelyn had her first taste of cascarones.
