The Blueberry Kid!

Madelyn would love to eat blueberries at every meal! I think that they are her new favorite food - we can even use them as leverage. I tell her that if she will eat something else she can have more blueberries!

25 Week Ultrasound

This morning I had another appointment to see our little baby Mason! All checked out well and the pictures are below. He is still running a little big - he is measuring at 1 pound 12 ounces (average baby at this time is around 1 pound 6 ounces)! I am feeling him move LOTS lately - he is a fan of punching and kicking Mommy, especially in the evenings :)...All is going well and I have another appointment with the Dr. next week.

What a Beautiful Day!

The weather here has finally turned into gorgeous spring days. We had to go out and enjoy it this afternoon! When Madelyn and I got home this afternoon Daddy had a surprise waiting for us - a new red wagon! We took Madelyn on her first wagon walk to the neighborhood park and lake. It was such wonderful weather and Madelyn loved riding in her new wagon!

Little Gym

Today Madelyn and I went to a birthday party at Little Gym. This was our first trip there and I was very anxious to see how Madelyn would like it. We are thinking about signing her up for classes there this summer. She loved it!! She ran around wild and had so much fun!! What a fun party!

Night Night

The other night I told Madelyn it was time for bed and she proceeded to go and get her Elmo and Elmo blanket and layed down on the floor. She wanted to go night night right there! I finally convinced her sleep in her bed. Her bed time habits have been going much better lately! She is going to sleep on her own with out fussing! I think that we are finally getting into a bedtime routine...(I hope that this does not jinx it!!)

Happy Birthday Daddy!!

Today is Derek's birthday. Madelyn and I are so lucky to have such a wonderful daddy and husband!! After we both got home from work we spent some time as a family (and opened presents) and then went to dinner at our favorite little Mexican restaurant! Madelyn LOVED her beans!

PS - Madelyn did not fall asleep sitting up tonight but did take her pants off before she well asleep! Oh well, she is asleep sans pants but covered with a blanket! What a crazy little girl!

Sleepy Head!

Madelyn has had her own ideas about going to bed lately...We do our usual bedtime routine, we lay Madelyn down in her crib and she proceeds to play in her crib until he decides it is bedtime. This sometimes lasts for 30 or more than an hour!! For the past two nights, I have gone in to check on Madelyn and I have found her sound asleep sitting up! She does not stay that way for long and sleeps great the rest of the night! What a silly girl :)
