Snack Time

Madelyn and Daddy have a new after school routine...They come home and share a snack together! It is so cute :)

Marshmallow Stealer!

Derek recently introduced Madelyn to the joy of marshmallows. Ever since, she has been obsessed with them!! She absoutly loves them...So a few days ago, this is what I found after work: Madelyn opened the pantry door, found the marshmallows, opened the bag and chowed down!! She was so proud of herself! I had to take a picture before I pryed the bag out of her hands!

Books

Madelyn is no longer eating most of her books and since she loves looking at them, I recently pulled down several books that I was saving. She has really enjoyed looking at them!

Windy Weather!

Madelyn and I did some playing outside this weekend. Since the wind was a little chilly, I made her keep her hood on. She was not too happy about that but it made for some pretty cute pictures :)

Play Room

On Friday, Derek worked all day to convert one of our spare rooms into a play room for Madelyn. I have been wanting to do this for a while now. I think it is important for Madelyn to have a place in the house that is 'hers' and is child proof! We are still trying to move some furniture around but Madelyn loves her new play room!!

Daddy's Girl

There is no doubt about it - Madelyn is a Daddy's Girl. She loves to play with Daddy and will copy anything that he does!! It is too funny :).

Block Tower!

I am still amazed that my little 16-month old can build a block tower all by herself!! She loves to build it up and then giggles when she knocks it down :)

I love Christmas

I know, I know...It is not even Thanksgiving yet and I have decorated the blog with Christmas. But, I can't help it - I love this time of year!! I love when the weather changes. I love Christmas music. I love the feel of Christmas. This is truly my favorite time of the year and wanted to share my love with the blogging world! :)

Kitty Love

Madelyn is fascinated by Gigi and Papa D's kitty. She thinks it is hilarious to touch the kitty! Madelyn was very wary at first but they are becoming close friends :)

Worn Out

After a long day of playing, Madelyn was worn out and ready for a snack, drink and cuddle from Gigi! :)

Family Visits

This afternoon Derek, Madelyn and I headed down south to visit with my Dad, Betsy and Nannie. Madelyn had such a good time!! The weather was so great that we spent the majority of the afternoon outside...She LOVED running around the golf course :) It was so nice to just let her be able to run around and not worry about hurting herself...She is really getting independent! I unfortunately did not get any pictures of Madelyn with family because she would not sit still long enough :). After her busy afternoon, Madelyn slept the whole way home and is happily snoozing away now!

Under the Chair!

Madelyn's new favorite hide-out is under the chairs or table in our breakfast area. I am not sure why she is so obsessed with being under there! She will even go to get toys and take them under the table to sit and play with them! What a silly silly girl :)
